Our History

Japan Sri Lanka Technology and Cultural Centre established for the benefit of the younger generation of Sri Lanka in 2002 has been registered as a social and welfare institute under the government of Sri Lanka in addition to the implementation of educational, social and welfare activities. Since 2002, around 5000 students have successfully migrated through our institute. We have launched programs on technological training for serving the development of our motherland. To facilitate these programs conducted, we formed Japan Lanka Technology and Cultural Centre (PVT) Ltd and registered under the government of Sri Lankan Under Reg. Number (PVS) 39378 in 2004 and it got reregistered under (PV) 74251 in 2010.

We carry out programs in Sri Lanka and abroad for the development of the young generation of Sri Lanka as the main objective of our organization.

The main targets of our institute are introducing qualified students for language schools and universities in Japan and another country, and it is expressed with pride that we are the first institution to introduce the two main Japanese language examinations, NIHONGO ABILITY TEST (NAT) and TOP JAPANESE TEST (TOPJ) to Sri Lanka out of three main Japanese language examinations. Also, in our institution we conduct Japanese language courses targeting the essential areas for the examinations, that should be passed before going to Japan for Japanese language schools, universities, and jobs.
